🚨 EASIEST WAY TO PREVENT A CAVITY:
1. GET A FLOSS
2. START FLOSSING
Do you know why cavities form in your mouth?
It's because of the build-up of bacteria on your tooth, or in between your teeth.
How do these bacteria get there?
Naturally, we have good bacteria in our mouths, which helps in food digestion and also prevents the growth of harmful ones.
How do the harmful ones get there?
Through the food and drinks, we take in. They get into your mouth and stick to your teeth.
So if brushing is your only dental hygiene, you're likely to get a cavity.
How does flossing help tho?
With flossing, you can pass through the tiny spaces between your teeth and pick out whatever food particles your toothbrush couldn't.
Do you know what the most common type of cavity is?

You don’t know it until you experience it, but you can learn from other people’s experiences.
Start flossing!!! Money spent on health is money well spent.
It just occurred to me, you probably don’t know what a cavity is.
It's ok, I only learned about it a few months ago.
So what’s a cavity?
Cavity is a form of tooth decay. It occurs because food particles and bacteria build up in your mouth.
When you eat or drink anything starchy or sugary, without proper hygiene, the acid in these types of foods and drinks begins to break down your teeth' enamel over time. This process is known as demineralization.
The enamel is the first layer of the teeth, as there are 3 layers: enamel, dentin, and pulp.
So when the enamel is stripped off its minerals due to acidic attacks from built-up food particles and bacteria, you're more likely to have a cavity.
One of the first signs of a cavity is the appearance of a black spot on the teeth, a hole in the teeth, then pain follows, and sensitivity to hot and cold food.
Depending on the severity of your cavity, your dentist may decide to treat you by extracting the affected teeth, a root canal, or just filling the hole.
With proper hygiene, you can prevent a cavity. So start; brushing, flossing, and eating healthy.
