Get Yourself A Boyfriend Before Valentine’s Day This 2025 With These 6 Steps

Getting a boyfriend before Valentine’s Day, which is roughly 16 days away, could sound as unrealistic as wanting to drop 50 pounds in two weeks.

We agree it’s not all love we feel in the air this year. Not with the Annie and 2face news making a buzz few days to Valentine anyway.

But that doesn't stop singles-pringles from searching for love, or what looks like it. To desire to have someone to celebrate Valentine with.

That is why in this article, I have outlined 6 steps to help you achieve that Hollywood dream of getting you a boyfriend before this year's Valentine's Day.

1. Go Back To Facebook

With more available aesthetically pleasing apps like IG and Ticktock, many have left Facebook.

If you're one of many, and you're serious about getting a boyfriend before Valentine's Day, then return to Facebook.

Not only will Facebook offer you a good variety of options to pick from, it makes connections easier and the algorithm is friendlier.

With just one very good looking picture of you, attached to an intelligent caption, you'll get the attention of many.

And trust me, attention comes first before the chocolate and roses.

2. Be Bold

Like all dreams and wishes, getting a boyfriend before Valentine’s Day will not come true if you just fold your hands.

You want something, go for it, and go for it boldly.

Perhaps you’ve had a crush on one of your mutuals on socials or on your contact list even.

Sis, it's time you dead the belief that you shouldn't talk to your crush or you shouldn't ask a man out.

It's 2025, and the men are more confused than ever as to what women want.

Your crush might be crushing back but isn’t certain of your feelings…or not.

But if you don’t make the move, you’ll never know and so bye bye to getting a boyfriend before Valentine’s Day.

3. Start Sharing Your Interests On Socials

On this, I recommend Twitter (X). I use it and I’ve noticed people bond easily there over common interests.

I'm not talking career wise now, smart money woman.

I'm talking hobbies.

If you like to paint, post something you painted. You like to read, post a paragraph of your current read. You love to listen to music, share some from your favorite artist. You love to travel, share fun facts about the places you've visited…and the list goes on.

Trust that as you keep doing this and your profile picture looks good too, sooner than later, you'll get a DM from a guy who shares your interests.

Before you know it, you’re giggling into the night that you’ll forget when the clock strikes and you’ve found the one for Valentine’s Day.

And you’ll have this fairy godmother to thank.

4. Go Out!

You’re an introvert?

Well, do you want a boyfriend before Valentine's Day or not?

Because if you do, you'd stop using that as an excuse or “there's nowhere to go around here”.

There is always somewhere to go. Even in the most remote places, and trust, cos I'm currently in one.

You just have to decide the kind of place where you'd like to find this prospective boyfriend, look around and familiarize yourself with the places around, find your spot and visit as frequently as you can.

It may seem like a scene in a movie, but a guy who’s been seeing you around can start the conversation in real life with “let me buy you a drink” or “I’ve been seeing you around, do you live close? Let me have your digits…”

5. Respond To Your Dms

Sometimes girls, we are the cause of our problems 🤦

You want a boyfriend before Valentine's Day but you've got 100 unopened Dms on your phone.

Please, sister, help me help you.

I know your standards are high, but how do you want to know if those guys meet them or not if you don't have conversations with them.

Conversation is key, not just to relationships but also to getting a boyfriend before Valentine's Day.

And trust, responding to your Dms might just be the key to achieving that.

6. Just Rest!

All fingers are not equal, for real.

It's possible you're not meant to be loved on Valentine's Day but for every other day.

So just rest. Don't join in the buzz. Let February 14 just be another Friday.

Go to the club if you wish to. Or to church. Or the movies. Or stay home, I know that's what I'll be doing.

Perhaps you don't need a boyfriend for Valentine's Day.

Perhaps you just need to douse yourself with self-love and after the buzz is over and the roses are dead, you'd still have that love going for you.

So after doing from point 1- 5 and it seems unlikely, sis, just rest!
