I hate it here.
Adulthood is difficult, but you already know that.
Life isn't fun anymore. You know that too.
But what you may not know is that we've become so engaged in the hustle that we no longer TALK, and I miss that.
To get out of the trenches, we now have to neglect friendship and hope that we understand.
Happiness is now put on a schedule, that's if you create the time.

I may like it here, yet.
Seems better than yesterday, when I went mute to the question you asked "where do you see yourself in 5 years".
Haven't got it all figured out, but at least now I've got a PLA
Counting my blessings, I'll find the N soon.

Then again, I hate it here.
If the sin of one man can affect all, perhaps life was never meant to be fun.
If we were meant to be happy every day, we probably wouldn't need to pray.
If we were meant to have it all figured out, maybe we'd know when the son of man is to come.

Stupid how hope is fickle, yet the only thing the living should hold on to constantly.
How life is now, but the future is all we can think about.
How wealth is vanity, yet poverty exists.
Actually, it's all vanity!
But cheers to the light at the end of the tunnel, for it's this comrade's only dream.
